Day one of a five week in-person flat bed hands-on course with Knot Impressed. :)
Course is using Brother 9mm bulky gauge machines - my first hands on with this gauge. I LOVE IT!
With Zora’s help I now added a Silver Reed SK155 9mm flat bed to my own home machines *THANK YOU ZORA!! (Now I have 2 flat bed machines at home: a standard 4.5mm and a 9mm machine)

I went home and used three different sock yarns to create my second set of fingerless gloves. I used the crochet chain cast on and bind off - even with allowances and careful work I still found the edge on the forearm to not be as loose as I’d like. Looking online for alternatives I did find one person used a knitting needle on the bed and worked over it to allow for more fiber during the crochet chaining.
