2019 Aug 1 - CSM Cover

New project: a csm knitted machine cover.
Worked a minimum 23” of flat knitting on my csm with 96 slot cylinder.

(Any cylinder could be used and panels joined with mattress stitch see SWEATER 1.0 or a different way of joining segments in the project BLANKET 1.0)

The flat knitting was hand sewn onto some recycled fabric to give it durability and to make the project less easy to snag on needles)

(I used an extra fabric pouch from a gadget called the “scrap-ma-Bob” bag. See “table organization” on SUPPLIES I LIKE)

The top flat round part was constructed using a plastic plate as a foundation so that the inside had extra durability and snag resistance. The finished result: INTRO VIDEO

Another ready idea to cover your machine: Use a shower cap!
